Who Can Join?

Online Registration Option

To make the registration process go smoothly, please fill out the online registration before coming to the squadron to complete the registration process. The steps for this are as follows:

  1. Visit the online registration tool.
  2. Select 365 LLOYD SPARKY AMENT, ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADET SQUADRON
  3. Fill out the form (you will receive a link to the email address you provided)
  4. Check our calendar and come on down to a Thursday night parade, bring your cadet, their health card, and their birth certificate, passport, or other proof of age documentation.
Eligibility

To be eligible for membership in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets a candidate must:

  • Have reached his/her 12th, but not 19th Birthday;
  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant, or be an international student under the guardianship of a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant;
  • Be acceptable to the Commanding Officer of the Squadron; and
  • Have parental or Guardian permission.

Cadets with physical or medical limitations may join Air Cadets, but may be excluded from certain activities, including Summer Training. The safety and well being of the cadet is the major consideration and determining factor.

Parents should be aware that if a cadet is not capable of attending weekend training exercises and/or summer training, the cadet may not be eligible for promotion, summer training or scholarship courses. This does not mean that a cadet cannot have a rewarding time at cadets, in spite of these limitations.

These are the documents you need to join our squadron:
